７月８日（月）に、岩見沢市と姉妹都市提携を結んでいるアメリカアイダホ州のポカテロ市の訪問団が来校し、体験活動を行いました。

On Monday, July 8, a delegation from Pocatello City, Idaho, USA, which has a sister city relationship with Iwamizawa City, visited the school and participated in hands-on activities.

　現在本校で取り組んでいる「北限のお茶栽培プロジェクト」の一環で、お茶の苗木を剪定し、とれた葉からお茶をつくる体験をしました。訪問団の皆さんはもちろん、本校の生徒たちも葉からお茶に加工するのは初めてで、新鮮な体験となりました。

As part of the "Northern Limit Tea Cultivation Project" that we are currently working on, we had the experience of pruning tea seedlings and making tea from the leaves. It was the first time for Mr./Ms. and the students of our school to process tea from leaves, and it was a fresh experience.

　他にも施設見学やアイスクリームの製造、試食を行い農業高校ならではの体験をしていただきました。

In addition, they toured the facility, made ice cream, and tasted ice cream, giving the students an experience unique to an agricultural high school.

　対応した農業クラブの生徒たちは、英語での説明を交えながら日頃の学習の成果を披露し、積極的に交流を深めていました。

The students of the Agriculture Club who responded showed the results of their daily learning with explanations in English, and actively deepened their exchanges.
